Swedish Ambassador Ingrid Johansson called on Punjab Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif, here on Friday. Matters of mutual interests, producing electricity through garbage, road safety, vehicles' inspection and certification, driving training school and promotion of cooperation in other sectors were discussed in the meeting. Speaking on the occasion, Shahbaz Sharif said there exists colossal opportunity of power generation through garbage in Punjab and investors of Sweden can avail these opportunities.

He said we are anticipating enhancing cooperation with Sweden regarding road safety. Punjab government has effectively propelled Metro Bus Service in three mega cities which has brought standard and cheap travelling facilities for the citizens and this service will be stretched out to other cities, he added.
